NEBBI and IACVA Join Forces

October 16, 2013

In case you missed the announcement last month, NEBB Institute has forged a strategic alliance with the International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts (IACVA). This partnership will join IACVA’s business valuation expertise, fraud deterrence, and forensic accounting with NEBBI’s machinery and equipment appraisal/brokerage services.

Founded in 2000, IACVA provides worldwide support to professionals who perform valuations for businesses, securities, and intangible assets, or are engaged in fraud deterrence. In the field of fraud deterrence and forensic accounting, IACVA encourages development and dissemination of consistent and demonstrable systems and techniques for both detection and prevention of fraud.

NEBBI, also founded in 2000, provides worldwide training, certification, and support to professionals who perform Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraisals for lenders, CPAs, attorneys, courts, and business owners.

With more than 10,000 members, IACVA is the largest accrediting and educational association in the world. IACVA has the unique ability to transfer knowledge among the international valuation and fraud deterrence communities by drawing on the vast wealth of experience and resources each member brings to the organization.

NEBB is one of the leading machinery and equipment appraisal and brokerage training and certifying organizations of Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraisers (CMEA) worldwide.  CMEAs adopt and comply with the regulations and ethics rules of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) as well as other international standards.
