The International Society of Business Analysts (ISBA) Announces the Professional Credential of Business Certified Appraiser (BCA)

February 20, 2013

ISBALogoThe International Society of Business Analysts (ISBA), sister organization to the NEBB Institute, is pleased to announce the formation of a new addition to the business valuation (BV) community, the Business Certified Appraiser credential.

For some time, we have been approached by those in the business valuation industry about the possibility of a new education program and certification process. We now believe the time is right for the Business Certified Appraiser credential.

The NEBB Institute has been successful over the past 12 years in the area of Machinery/Equipment Appraisal education and certification. Our membership has grown close to 450 in 48 states, in addition to Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Singapore, Australia, Canada, and Norway. Very soon, NEBBI will be adding members in South America and Africa. Based on that experience and success, we felt a similar model and administration is timely for the BV effort.

The 3 Steps to Earning The Professional Credential Of BCA

STEP 1:  Complete Level 1 – Valuation Essentials Course and passing the proctored exam

STEP 2:  Complete Level 2 – Advanced Techniques Course and passing the proctored exam

STEP 3:  Final step is submitting one demonstration report for peer review by the Educational Committee based on specific case study information. (Packet of case study info will be provided upon successfully passing both the Level 1 and Level 2 Courses.)
