September 5, 2012

The International Society of Business Analysts (ISBA) is designed to bring together a large group of business analysts that are knowledgeable in the various aspects of running, appraising, and transferring businesses. The scope and focus of the International Society of Business Analysts is to develop relationships with other business professionals, to increase our collective knowledge, and to broaden our networks.

Members of the ISBA come from varied backgrounds and educational systems, but at the end of the day we are all Business Analysts. We are Business Consultants and Business Analysts within our specialties. Our professional credentials include SBA (Senior Business Analyst) and CSBA (Certified Senior Business Analyst).

The ISBA membership includes industry experts in business valuations, machinery and equipment appraisals, business transfers, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, exit planning, machinery and equipment brokerage, financial statements, buy sell agreements, gifting, legal, ESOPS, lending, litigation, and more.

Since 1994, ISBA has attracted more than 700 highly trained professionals in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, business enhancement, business law, financial planning, litigation support, expert witness testimony, corporate taxation, finance, and brokerage, in addition to other specialties involved in business analysis and business consulting.

The ISBA has a network of members who are certified to handle every aspect of business enhancement that a business owner might be seeking. Referrals between ISBA members increase business opportunities and expand businesses while helping those in need of professional services.

When you join the NEBB Institute, ISBA membership is automatic. For more information, visit the ISBA website or the NEBB Institute website.

The NEBB Institute endorses and strives to observe the highest standards of professional ethics to preserve the public trust inherent in the professional appraisal practice.
