NEBBI Looks Ahead to 2011

January 5, 2011

The start of a new year is a great time to plan, strategize, and prepare for the coming 12 months. It’s also a good time to assess and reassess, and that includes having appraisals done on machinery and equipment by a certified machinery and equipment appraiser (CMEA) so you know what everything’s worth.

Machinery and equipment depreciate over time, so the value of something at the beginning of 2011 may not be the same as the value at the beginning of 2010.

Whether you need an appraisal done or are considering becoming an appraiser yourself, the NEBB Institute is the place to start. We will be running certification and recertification courses throughout the year, and stand ready to help you find a CMEA to meet your appraisal needs.

The new year presents many opportunities and challenges, but the NEBB Institute stands by our mission statement: to abide by the highest standards of excellence in the industry.

The NEBB Institute endorses and strives to observe the highest standards of professional ethics to preserve the public trust inherent in the professional appraisal practice. The Institute provides initial and monthly comprehensive education, ongoing support, and a dynamic international network, and certifies professionals in the art of machinery/equipment appraisal and brokerage.
